OSU Wexner Medical Center

We have 5 Student AV Technician positions available. Our student employees provide AV technical support (computers, digital projectors, microphones, lighting, web conferencing, recording, etc.) with an emphasis on customer service for events as well as office duties for room and event scheduling.  This job offers a great set of experiences to build customer service, technical, troubleshooting, and administrative skills in a fast-paced, business operation.  We work in an open office as a team, but with individual responsibility and autonomy.  We’re looking for students who want to work 12-28 hours per week and can cover shifts ranging between 6:30a – 5:15p Monday – Thursday and 6:30a – 3:15p Friday.  Work schedules are the same each week and last the duration of the semester.  We start at $9.00 per hour with opportunities for merit increases.  We have strong retention, with most students staying employed with us through graduation.  The link to the job application and the official position summary is below.  Please note that there is only one posting, but there are 5 open positions available.

Fisher Emerging Consultants is designed to complement student involvement in the Fisher consulting based student organizations including Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO) and Buckeye Undergraduate Consulting Club (BUCC), which host consulting firms at their meetings and/or offer opportunities for students to complete consulting projects. In addition, Fisher Emerging Consultants targets sophomores and students are encouraged to consider applying for the Consulting Industry Cluster during their junior year.

Class: Students selected for the program will be enrolled in a special section of BA 2601, which will meet during the second session of spring semester (March 2 – April 27) on Wednesdays and Fridays 8:00-9:20 a.m. To participate in the program, you must be available to enroll in the class.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Cumulative GPA of 3.5+

- Graduating between Dec. 2016 and Aug. 2018

Financial Coach for Scarlet and Gray Financial

Have an interest in becoming a volunteer Financial Coach for Scarlet and Gray Financial? As part of the Student Life Student Wellness Center located in the RPAC, our coaches provide free financial coaching for student clients that empowers them to grow their skills around a range of topics including budgeting, credit education, financial goal­setting, savings planning, debt repayment and more topics surrounding personal finance. The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a broad­based semester experience (occurring Spring Semester) that combines peer coaching, financial education, and leadership development. Students who successfully complete the LDP will become Financial Peer Coaches and participate in extensive ongoing personal development and skill growth. Through our program, Peer Coaches develop personally and professionally, while building relationships with fellow students, Ohio State faculty, staff, alumni, and industry professionals.
